On hold...

Phew. Not going outside again until this evening or whenever the temperature cools down. Went to the grocery store to get the money order, then back to the apartment complex office to pay what I owed. I called a lady at church because she said a there was someone new in charge of a craft show I'd like to try to get into at her mobile home park. When I called, I spoke to the same lady I talked to before, and she said (she said this the last time I called) that someone else will be taking over the craft show, but not until next year. I guess the lady at church misheard or something. Anyway, the lady I spoke to on the phone said she remembered talking to me before, and that I said I didn't have much stuff to sell. She had told me before that the residents of the mobile home park get chances for (regular 6-foot) tables first, but she had me on the list to call in case they have more enough space. She also remembered that we talked about there being smaller tables, and that I didn't have much stuff anyway, so she said she'd call if there turned out to be any space. In the meantime, I will continue to work on stuff. (*Just got off the phone and am no longer on hold). Soon after that my brother called, and said that the disability lawyer I'd been talking to called him, and said they hadn't been able to get ahold of me, and I should call them back (I am now of the phone again, since before I hung up and then realized if they couldn't get ahold of me before they may not be able to get a hold of me next time--duh... ) So I'll be on hold while I do whatever I'm able to do around here.
