It's So Stupid It Hurts

"If NASA says it's too hot to go to the sun, why not go at night when the sun turns off."
I heard someone say this on video and the heartbreaking stupidity of it made me want to bloody scream.
It's definitely an indictment of the state of education in many places. Even worse though,is that some people that are this uneducated are going to be headed to the voting booths.
Scary thought.

I actually hope it was, but there wasn't evidence of it being one. I know it's hard to tell sometimes. @marguicha

I wonder if that was coming from an old joke about two blond astronauts in space? The copilot looks over at the captain and asks, "Where are we going, again?" "Why, we're going to the sun," the copilot informed her. "What? We can't go there. We'll burn up!" the copilot exclaims. The captain smiles and says, "Silly you, we're going at night." lol. Not sure if that was the case with the video you saw, but I HOPE it was a joke.

Just like what I have been observing about these certain mindless people. I've wriiten an OP about it, too.
And THEIR voter ID is outlawed by blue states.

Maybe they were just being funny? I will agree that in many ways the US is "dumbing down". I don't know what the answer is. Have a good weekend.

There was a meme 6-7 years ago suggesting Trump stated something almost exactly like that. I did not believe it then, and I do not believe it now.
I realize many people cannot distinguish satire online, but...
