10/4/24 - Update On My Husband

My husband has my cell phone number now so he can call me. I'm still without a landline. Kinetic/Windstream has messed up my account.
"Celebrated" our 54th yesterday. Pizza Hut doesn't open up until 3 pm now; so we brought my hubby some burgers and fries from Burger King. He was disappointed. We had some cake and gave him some cards. We'll make up for this anniversary when he comes home.

It scared me when I didn’t see anything from you this morning, then I saw this discussion that you’re having problems with your “great internet.”
Pizza Hut isn’t open for lunch? What’s with that???

They either aren't doing well, or they don't have enough staff to cover lunch. My landline is still out!!!

Congratulations on your anniversary! 54 years is definitely worth of celebrating. Glad you got to see your hubby and hopefully he'll be home soon.

Well good lord, it's always something when you can't please every 1
you want him to come home, but he won't get out of the building just
for some fresh air where he can feel better, think how disappointed you are
Look at all the foot work & loops & hoops you been through with trying
to get what he needs done done, we're ALL disappointed in a lot of stuff
that you both have been through so being he didn't get his pizza hut is
nothing compared to what you have been through with all this.
But to make things better, congrats on your 54th anniversary hope
things can turn around for the better for you both, you deserve it.

Thank you. On the other hand, it pretty much sucks in rehab and the food is lousy; so he was disappointed when he had his taster set for Pizza Hut pizza.

@LindaOHio yeah I know when I had my nose feed in
for 3 mons I was wanting some good food but I couldn't
eat it, but WHEN I could I couldn't taste it for a few mons
so it limited how much I could eat which sucked.

They used to open up at 11 am; so I was shocked when I called and got an automated response saying they open at 3!!!

You need to call that Windstream place, insist on a real human to talk to, and tell them you are handicapped, your husband is handicapped, and you must have a working phone ASAP. Tell them that's what you signed up for..be very insistent. Do they have a facebook page? Once when I was trying out Verizon internet (I would not recommend!) I couldn't get a service person scheduled for weeks. I commented (as nice as I could, but...) on their facebook page and wow, miracle of miracles, someone messaged me, called me within an hour, and a tech came out. Hmm...
Not saying that will work but it's worth a shot. I never did get any type of service that worked well from Verizon, so I got out of my contract and I went with another provider. You pay for a service, you should get that service~~

I can understand that your husband was disappointed. He doesn´t have much to look forward besides his favorite food. Bad Pizza Hut
