This morning our local schools division of the Department of Education kicked off their whole day observance of National Teacher's Day with a foot parade of teachers coming from different clusters.
Our beloved City Mayor inspired everyone of his great achievements for the improvements and progress of the city especially in terms of education and teachers' benefits and welfare.
As a retired elementary school principal for 8 years, I miss this kind of memorable day for teachers.
I did really enjoy the morning program especially watching my youngest teacher daughter showing off her dancing feat in their zumba dance session with her co-teachers.
How I wished to bring back those good ol' days when I was teacher before.

Yea, that's right. Though I was already out of the service but I love to join with them.

@rakski You said it. Some teachers I met didn't fail to greet me a happy teacher's day not counting my previous teachers whim I suiervuse as their principal.
