I once had a Shih Tzu. He wasn't really a stray when we first met, and he was a friendly one. I have no idea about his parents, and I didn't lure him to follow me home. I sort of rescued him and he became the family's best pet ever. From experience, I agree that Shih Tzus are known for their friendly and laid-back nature. But I have no idea until now that they can form surprising bonds with cats, despite the common belief that dogs and cats are natural enemies. Their small size makes them less intimidating to feline companions, having the ability to coexist peacefully. Dog-cat interactions can be so fascinating and heartwarming to watch. Each pair has its own unique dynamic, and it’s amazing to see how they communicate and form bonds despite their differences.
