"Other people are quite dreadful. The only possible society is oneself." Oscar Wilde
What say you? Care to discuss?
I also entertain pleasant positive outcomes when I'm on a look-out guarding myself against the dumbing down of the minds of those (adults) who obstinately reject--or numb their conscience if there's any thing ever left there --- to learn, uphold the rules and laws of true human greatness.
I believe with those who also believe that greatness is indeed possible and is attainable. Easy, we open our eyes-- dig up that unused intelligence-- beyond pathetic platitudes, word slaw and irritating cuteness and posh behaviour.
This is an age of lazy relativism. Social arrogance as a result of pathetic ignorance, in which people have been NPCed to apparent mindless aggression. Devoid of reasoning to dispute viewpoints and perspective (obviously none) without a strong leg to stand on.
"Rude! You're hateful"
"Racist"" with outrage reflex, they snap out at you when you simply want to know why they say what they say. It turns out they're simplistically mimicking (parroting) the narrative dictated to them from wherever the hypnotic powers-that-be player is transmitted from.
Without a voice of their own-- culled to a deep state of drift-- denied of intelligence and critical thinking. And they don't even recognize it.
I can recognize them with alarm.
Author's note:
The above short OP (original post) I have written is my observation and response to modern day culture. And I do not apologize for it.

Thank you for your comment.
I'm not a Sociologist by Phd employed profession. I'm a common sense parent and a tax-paying citizen.
I work as Educator by profession with teens, children with special needs in the mainstream school-based environment, though

Have a great day, my friend. :-)
