Good morning, friends.

It is a beautiful day here.
I filled my pill box, ate a piece of cheese, brought a cup of coffee to bed and started a long talk with Tania.
She felt better but she is still ill. Our long conversation included recipesof food for tummy problems. I´m an expert.
I am slowly writing a new grocery list. I discovered that I could write it in the supermarket page and leave it until I wanted to send for it. That is wonderful because I can edit the list.
I´m happily walking around the house in flip flops. I hate my old winter slippers. But I won´t buy others.
I found some old bread in the fridge. I´ll go now to see if they are still good to eat. If not, I´ll have to soften the bread I just bought by sprinkling some water and putting it in the microwave oven for some seconds.
See you friends.

Those stomach viruses can be awful if you forget to drink water or you can´t hold it.

@rakski I was a week in the hospital with a stomach virus a few years ago. I got dehydrated in seconds.

I have a supermarket nearby and I buy there all the time online. If I ask for over a certain amount, they ship the groceries free of charge. I also have a site to shop online in my computer. They have my password and all that. As I´m a "prime" costumer, they offer me some groceries at better prices. I like it very much.

@anya12adwi The offers are usually things I don´t care for. But the free shipping is perfect.

I'm glad Tania is a little bit better. I'm also glad that it's warming up for you. Here, it is getting colder. I hate winter. It will be here before you know it! Have a good day.

I think that the older I get, the more I hate winter.

Maybe you don't have walking issues, but did you know that more older people fall from wearing flip flops than any other age group? And, they can lead to plantar fascitis, which is so, so painful. You need shoes with an arch for support. No offense, but flip flops can be deadly. And on any stairs at all, an absolute NO for you. Be safe, Marga.

I have discovered that my flip flops are better for me than my winter slippers. I should use the Skecher slip ins throughout the year maybe. I don´t climb the stairs with slippers nor flip flops lately. I prefer to take off my shoes (if I´m not wearing my slipins. I am checking for sandals with arch support. Thank you dear.

@MarieCoyle I wish Skechers had some sort of sandals more appropiate for me now.

I just don't want you to fall. And stairs and flip flops are not a good combination...I do wear my Skechers all year--I have one pair I just wear in the house. I did that because I prefer not to track any dirt inside if I can help it, but I have to wear shoes when I walk--my bad leg/foot will not allow me to try to be barefoot anywhere safely.

I only heat liquids and rice there but it is quite good for bread too. Still, this bread doesn´t seem to have any good future.

It was a good bright day, but then it started pouring around 7 PM and it's still pouring. The rain came suddenly as we were driving to pick up our daughter from her Dandiya night in college( special dances during festive season). We thought to have a beautiful drive, but then rain ruined the plan. We got stuck in traffic and glad that we just came back home .
Enjoy your time. I hope that Tania feels better with all those tummy friendly recipes

Tania is a bit better, but not well yet. It takes some time. She will stay in bed today.

Here the day has been beautiful too, wish I had known earlier so I would have gone for walk.
While it is fall, temp is around 18 C and the sun is shining. Yellow leaves look wonderful with the blue sky.
I'm so glad to hear Tania is feeling better.
