That you didn't realise until you got home and also, is it cause i was on self check out but how could i exit the shop with this...
It was a rainy day and i was angry to get back again for this but, my question still lingers. in a regular store market, why are they doing this to people. I live close to the mall where this market is but why did they put this on umbrella in the first place.
That market really disappointed me.

You were able to get out of the market with that thing still tightly lock in your umbrella? What's wrong with their security and staff.
I know how disappointing it is... not just about the security, but because I know you are struggling if you are to get back there to tell them the uncomfortable situation you have experienced with their store, and the hassle of driving back there. God bless, I hope you still a great week.

i wonder as well. that says they don't have any alarm on self check out and if anyone wasn't looking i or someone else, could stole this umbrella. i asked someone close to me, she went to that shop for somethingelse but, really, 13 dollars just to come back again. thank you. it is semi good week, some other things troubling me. have a good week as well.

i wanted but it would look ugly so i asked someone close to me, she went to that store for something else and fixed the problem. but, from now on, i won't buy anything from clothes and other things there, only food. i don't need an additional chain

well, maybe they had negative experience with that before and they decided to prevent it like that.

Maybe people can steal umbrellas and resell them easily on a rainy day, but it sucks the self checkout was completely clueless about the anti theft and left you with that surprise.

they are usually like that but sometimes i thought they look now and then at their customers. it is gone now but what a trouble. it is a huge market and just yesterday, i went to buy their own brand of shower gel and they had everything except that, cause it was cheaper, unbelievable. they are forcing me to go away from them

@somewitch and that is a right thing to do; that's some service.
here and this one, they should check and supervise more, even i sometimes need help cause they are keeping moving the only machine that you can pay with cash. all others are for cards only. they are huge or lazy to manage and yes, i am not desirable there, i guess. like the witch from oz, they will feel my power. i just need to buy red shoes first

@grenery8 I had a problem with machines accepting cash once, but it was at the train station. There was one free machine and I confidently went there to later realize it wouldn't get my banknote, after a few attempts. Nothing mentioned it didn't accept cash, but at least I didn't have groceries to move around. I only looked like a fool and that was it.
