I said in another post that I had an ultrasound test coming up. No. I am tons too old to be preggers. Now my leg? Maybe its preggers. That leg is larger than the right one and the ultrasound showed clear flowing veins and arteries. Woo hoo.
Maybe its cause of the knee being bone on bone. The discussion with the Orthopedic surgeon comes on October 23rd. I am guessing that he will set a date for the knee replacement then. Oh joy and oh jolly.
How to tell my hubby that my left leg is preggers?

You’re going to feel so much better when this is behind you. Even though my dad had a tough recovery, he said he’d do the knee replacement all over again since he isn’t in pain anymore. He used to suffer so much during winter especially, and now he won’t have to. And neither will you. Just try not to tough it out without the pain medication like my dad initially did. And don’t let them push you out of the hospital after your surgery. Try to stay as long as you can.
Okay, now that I’ve been bossy as all get out I’ll move along. You may end up like my stepmom’s brother who had very little trouble, and is doing great.
I seem to feel the need to hover over you from several states away. I’m sorry!

@AmbiePam I'm not sure if you are my sister or my daughter. You're sweet and caring, that much is for sure. I have been told its an over nighter in the hospital then get out. One lady in physical therapy said that she was only in out patient for her surgery. Ortho Doc said over night for me.

My knees are, as you say, bone on bone. But the doctor sees no cause for knee replacement yet.

Just make sure, if you have the replacement, that you take every bit of physical therapy suggested. I cut mine short and now have limited movement in my right knee. Have a good week.

@LindaOHio I still am sorry. Can you do little leg stretches now to keep a bit of strength in your leg?

A knee replacement?
I'm not very familiar with knee replacement but hip. I hope knee surgery is easier. Besides, there have been advancements in surgical techniques in the last few decades. As long as you find a good clinic with good staff, everything shall be alright. Or just listen to Amber, she provided very good info.

@somewitch The idea of hip surgery scares me. You are right. There have been medical advancements. Thanks for your kind answer.
