Have you heard of this?

The 'poop rule' to decluttering? Basically, you ask yourself "If this had poop on it, would I wash it or throw it away?" I guess it depends on what it is and how many dirty diapers you've washed in your life and how OCD you are.

Fortunately I have not heard of that. I don't want to declutter with that kind of thinking

Well, that's interesting. No, I have never heard of that and I don't think I'll ever apply it. I could easily throw away most of my clothes when some could be donated instead. If only they didn't get poop on them.

They don't literally have to have poop on them, just imagine if they did.

I have seen it mentioned, but never investigated the meaning. Thanks for enlightening me.

I've heard of that "poop" rule and I guess it would depend on what item had poop on it.

Or if the item has mold on it- can it be washed free for sure?

Bleach, lots of bleach, and then maybe not because the bleach is liable to mess up the item, too.

I've never heard of that. There's hardly anything I would wash and keep!!!! Have a good week.

I have never in my life heard of that rule, but I have to say I will never forget it, and will probably start using it.
