This makeshift stage we call life slapping me with a script I never asked for I know nothing of the role I play each performance an improvisation words and actions involuntarily spill out stage fright tearing at my gut a drunken barfly stumbling through the haze tripping over the mess of my own making If only I could rewind, catch a breath but why even try? for whatever I did becomes forever the deed there are no previews, no dress rehearsals in life failures the point, the scars we wear laughing at that which is transient and imperfect

True, there is no rewind . . . what's done is done. But there's always the next show . . . sometimes even worthy of an applause. And those are the moments we should strive for .

Life is what we made it. We have free will to choose which is best. No rewind so we can do better the next time

I guess that's the proof of we have no control in everything, but it doesn't mean we can stop living, for in every failures there are learnings, and a redirection of our path which was originally planned from above... But I rather keep moving and see what's behind those higher plans from above. its a nice poem.

Much of life is scripted, but as Shakespeare said, we are actors, and we should do our best to live that script too, rather than just sit in a chair, bored, and uninterested, because we are stuck in a script, we think we never asked for, or wrote. "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits, and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts." Shakespeare
