What was your favorite concert ever?

I have seen the Grateful Dead about ten times. I have seen Tom Petty twice. I have seen Richard Thompson Maybe eight times. I saw Yes once, but they were way too loud. I have seen John Prine. I have seen Greg Brown. I have seen B.B. King. I have seen Koko Tayor several times. Gil-Scott Heron twice. Pat Metheny several times. Keith Jarrett once. But one of the best concerts I ever saw was a band called Heartsfield, out of suburban Chicago. At least that's where I think they were from. Maybe it was Florida. I'm not sure. It was in the early/mid 1970s. Acoustic guitar was a thing (Eagles). Good harmonies were a thing (Eagles, CSNY). Dueling leads were a thing (Allman Brothers). A little bit of Jesus was a thing (Doobie Brothers). I saw these guys at a theater at the University of Chicago called Mandel Hall. I have a friend whose last name is Mandel. Her dad was associated with the University of Chicago. I wonder if the hall is named after her Grandfather. Who knows? I'll have to ask her. Anyway, it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Or at least one of the concerts I enjoyed the most. I'll attach Music Eyes, a simple 4./4 to 4 to 1 song that was awesome. I still have two of their albums on vinyl. Can you remember your favorite concerts ever? Do tell!

The late great Roger Whittaker performed a show in New Orleans in February of 1988. I really enjoyed his music.

Billy Joel was a good one. I love all his tunes, and his performance didn't lack anything.

I never had the money to go to concerts I cared for. Now I thank YouTube as there I have seen singers like Elvis and The Beatles in concert.

Mine is a tie between George Strait and Allen Jackson. Just two great singer song writers, standing there on stage singing their songs. Nothing flashy, no pyrotechnics, no jumping around. Rock concerts I would say Heart. I saw them 3 times.

You've got a good collection of concerts you've been to. Listened to the video - very acoustic and nice vibes. I'm not a concert goer. So the best concert is probably the one that my daughters choir sang in - she was in the beginner section and just had 2 songs, but the entire 1.5 hir show was spectacular.

Mine was a Christian concert, so you probably aren’t familiar with DC Talk and Audio Adrenaline. It was unbelievable.

I never went to a live concert, I cannot stand the noisy crowds, you cannot even enjoy the music.

My favorite concert moment was Billy Joel doing "New York State Of Mind." He said he was doing it because they had been on the road for a long time and were homesick. It worked for me because I missed New York, too. It was right after I moved back here.

I went to very few concerts but Vince went to see Bob Dylan very early in his career and the support act was Roy Orbison so that's his major claim to fame.

U2 Elevation Tour at Madison Square Garden in NYC. I'm so predictable that my uncle went looking for me at the county library where he of course found me. We were on our way to NYC in just minutes. Another uncle had tickets but decided not to go so my other uncle was determined to go with me. SUCH AN AMAZING SHOW!!!!! Hands down the best. That was the tour with the big heart stage out into the audience.

My favorite has to be the Beatles. It's an iconic piece of history. I also enjoyed Robert Palmer a lot. Have a good day.

You have had great times going to so many concerts, I only saw two in my entire life. One was as a teenager with my best friend and it was our teen idol, David Cassidy. A bunch of crazed girls jumping on folding chairs goodness knows what could have happened. The other was a really good Elvis impersonator who truly made you believe he had come back in spirit to give a concert,
