Short story: The whistling Zen master

The old Zen master, Yuperti Zoskarvi, used to always whistle a tune, as he walked the paths in his monastery.
He would say cheerfully, that this always helped him to stay in tune to life, both in, and around him, too.
He then would add with a smile, and with a twinkle, in his eye:
"Thinking about zen destroys zen. Whistling creates it."
"Whistling attunes you to the zen in you, by creating a connection to zen, it is created as you, comes alive as you."
"When you love, love is alive in you, but love is always dormantly alive in you as is zen, or is truth."
"Zen is the condition of your heart, not of your mind."
"An aware consciously enhanced mind helps you live, but only your heart allows you to zen it all, in place, with love."
"This means to live unconditionally alive to love, not trapped off by a mind, trying too hard to become enlightened, which never helps you love. In fact, your mind will so often try to move you away from love, instead, if you let it rein free, in your life."
"Zen is love, and a Zen master loves, and lives, from that love, not from any state of his mind, which love eventually trains into perfection in him too, without him training, or straining, it, to do so, himself."

The Zen master always seemed to be happy, and content, with his life.

Love and zen should become a habit with us rather than an afterthought or forced on us.
Ditto happiness and contentment.
In a way, we should live by them rather than follow rituals monotonously.
Lip service as our politicians are wont to do during election time deludes us with no end in sight.
The quote attributed to Einstein comes to mind - "Insanity Is Doing the Same Thing Over and Over Again and Expecting Different Results."

Because the world is what it is, even doing the same thing over and over will bring some different results over time, though, as we cannot step in the same river twice, as they say either, and we will all die in the end too, no matter how we lived our life, but hopefully, we will have another chance to do things differently in the next life, if there is one.
Different results, are par for the course sometimes, then, because we control nothing in the end, and all goes to its end, via the same river of time.
Short term though, Einstein was smart enough to be right here too, though. Painting our shed black, over and over, will never achieve for us, a pink shed.

@Shiva49 Yes, all possibilities do seem to be on the table at times, and yet, the Universe does work via laws, so water will seldom fall up a waterfall, rather than down.
We need to be practical about these laws while remaining flexible that they might not be totally fixed in their place either.

@innertalks Nothing is impossible in creation.
"Two parallel lines can meet at infinity" comes to mind.
We know next to nothing about what creation is.
The most powerful telescopes throw up mystery after mystery giving fresh perspectives of the universe.
Though we think we are masters of all we survey, other species are given a different perspective which can be more realistic.
We need lots of zen and love to remain sane.
