Hello lotters! I am back to posting discussion and I hope a lot of lotters can participate and relate. I have been sick the past days , you know the cold weather just started and the usual cough and colds appear. But I am okay now same with my mom too .
Anyway here is my entry for today. I saw the photo when I seearched for something online. It caught my attention because its my favorite character and then I read what is written.
I can relate to what is being said . Most people categorize being quiet or silent as a sign of weakness or ignorance. Some say some people become silent because they are afraid or they dont have a knowledge or a proper understanding to some things.
Do you believe in that ?? For me , it depends on the situation. But I think we must also be careful with quiet with silent people because I have seen quiet people get really mad and they can't control it. Some people I know is silent or distant is because they are observing everything. And when they speak you will be surprised, they know everything.
Fellow Lotters , what is your observation about quiet or silent type of people? Have you encountered someone who is really silent ?

THat is true, being quiet or silent doesn’t automatically indicate weakness, ignorance, or fear. Silence can serve many purposes depending on the situation and the individual. Like you said, some people stay quiet because they're observing, reflecting, or thinking critically, and when they do speak, they bring deep insight or knowledge. It can also be a form of self-control.

Sometimes being quiet is the best choice. Listening is smart. Observing and not jumping in with opinions and such is also smart.

I am sometimes silent. Sometimes it's because I think people aren't going to listen to me or I don't have the words to say what I want to say.

I'm 1 that is a silent person & not because I'm weak but very dangerous when some 1
lights my fuse the wrong way, I've been put in jail over my temper back in my younger
days, I learned from my past to just walk away & not get involved with stupid people.
Then there's times when I have nothing to say or talk about & just keep things to my
self cause I can solve what's bothering better than any 1 else & I use it to my benefit
at times to let others know I'm not 1 to argue with & it's best to leave me alone.
But then again I'm the sign of the bull, taurus & Irish Indian German & Sweetish

o, stitich, i missed him. i always thought people who won't say anything are shy but we have a saying here that a mild water can do many harms, something liek that and it can be applied here. for me, i am staying silent in front of some people and don't like discussing my private life.
