The city mayor recognized and appreciated federation officers of senior citizens for their efforts of making the elderly week celebration.
Earlier, however, the 2024 Elderly Week celebration of our small city kicked off this morning with a parade of muses and members of clusters of senior citizens coming from different barangays of the city.
The city government awarded several SCs who are 80 to 90 of age of cold cash.
In the afternoon, the new Ms. Granny was crowned.
Then raffle draws followed. My wife and I were hoping that we would win but unluckily not.
Anyway, everyone did enjoy.
Tomorrow our activities will be concluded. There will be ballroom dance competition.

Most of the people here have not seen Mayor! I wish we had such civic bodies!

@anya12adwi ours is much different. He comes to the people especially when there's a festivity, occasion or program.
