Good morning, friends.
I have become fully aware that where I live people are not able to deal with rain. And that is weird because we can deal very well with the earthquakes we have almost every day.
We still have problems that were side effects from the rain we had last month. It is a shame.
But I´m aware that what happens to others become statistics. And today after a few drops of rain, I had to change my whole day.
Today I was going to see a couple of small houses for sale with the realtor. I only had one small problem that could be managed. Anita has hidden my umbrella and if I could not find it, I´d had to go out with a scarf over my head. After all, it wasn´t such a heavy rain.
I had an early breakfast and turned on the heater towards the bathroom as I wanted to wash my hair and make a sort of hairdo.
And just then, the lady messaged me telling me that the owners of both houses that she was planning to show me had asked her to change the date due to the rain. GIMME A BREAK!!! I live alone, I´m almost 80 and I can accept people at home if a few raindrops are falling!
I wrote back saying that we could check them next week but that I did not know yet what my plans for next week were. All I know is that I´ll have more time for mylotting.
So here I am. The rain stopped. I´ll go first and give a snack to Luna.
See you.

@marguicha - If they want to sell their house, it would be better they are available to show the house.

@LadyDuck Exactly. I´m lucky the I am in no hurry to buy or sell. Right now, I´m gathering small carton boxes to slowly sort out the books I want to keep.

It's good there's no rain while we celebrate our elderly week 2024 this morning for lately there was a heavy downpours and thunderstorm.

We had a very big rain last month, but it was the first one in a long time. I agree that there are problems when there is a heavy rain. But now, not even I would really need an umbrella.

No, it wasn´t. I would have agreed if it had been a terrible rain with wind and all. But it wasn´t like that. It is just a bit that will help me water my garden.

Good grief. Hard to think of a little rain keeping them from showing you the houses. But you will see them next week, which is good. Take a little nap, it’s nice to nap when it’s rainy.

When making a purchase like a home, it's best anyway to take your time and not make any fast decisions. I am so glad that she did pay back that money, so glad!
