This weeks painting project.

This is the drawing I've done ready for this weeks painting project. The demonstration in the London Art Course syllabus is in oils, but if you don't want to do it in oils you can use acrylic or gauche. I'm going to be using acrylic. I drew an horizon line across the page about 1/3 way from the top. Even though it's a still life, you still put an horizon line in to help with composition. For the jug on the left I drew a circle, then added the rectangle behind it, which is going to be a vase of flowers in the finished painting. Then I drew the box in the bottom left. Then I drew in the mushroom at the bottom. I had to rub it out and do it again because it was in the wrong position. I drew the jar on the right, and circles for what I think are grapes. It didn't take me very long to do. They want me to do 2 oil, acrylic or gauche paintings aswell no bigger than 25cm by 25cm, any subject but in completely different styles, but I don't know what I'm going to do with those yet. I don't know if I'm going to do any drawing this afternoon. I'll see how I feel. I hope you are all well and having a nice day.
