Phone Was Wet

No umbrella for me, I'm no kitten. I'm a great big kitty cat!
I had to replace the stationary bike workout because my knees were pleading for mercy.
Walking outdoors feels way better, even on a rainy day.
Stats also show this has been my best cardio workout so far.
But I had to constantly reach for my phone to check the walking route I had created. Due to rain, I risked getting my phone soaked, so I eventually had to give up the map.
My walk ended up being shorter than planned. Once home, I took off my wet clothes and walked a few extra minutes to reach my goal.
For obvious reasons, I couldn't take any photo: no interesting sights and phone was wet.
Maybe I could have snapped some puddles, but I was too focused on avoiding them.
All I can offer is a cup with some mysterious concoction inside.
While it has nothing to do with the phone, the liquid is wet.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how stupid was I for not bringing an umbrella?

@TheHorse You must be a great big kitty cat too if you don't even own one.

@somewitch My kitty hates it when I water my plants. She thinks I am going to mistake her for a plant.

@TheHorse Poor Kitty, how dare you water the plants in her presence?

@grenery8 Thank you!
It's good as long as you don't get too wet because that is not fun, luckily all I got was a bit of a sore throat.
Is that the umbrella you bought that came with the antitheft? I'm reading that post now.

I can't tell Lol!
But don't you know thet in the Philippines we bring umbrella all the time, but we don't use it unless the rain is so heavy and strong... and our reason for not using it...simple: we don't want it to get wet! Its not stupidity - its laziness, lol!

@luisadannointed Thanks for not judging.
Well, that's a weird reason to not use the umbrella: it's supposed to get wet so you don't. But hey, I also understand it's annoying to go places with that dripping wet piece of cloth.

@RebeccasFarm Brollies? I learned a new word!
Unfortunately they canget a little cumbersome, I should just avoid walking for exercise on rainy days. My cold is almost gone but I learned my lesson.

I don't have one so we are both stupid or very strong

@wolfgirl569 Very strong, that's it, of course!
It's my phone that is a weakling and needs to get an umbrella.

I usually carry one when my kids are with me or if it is really raining hard

@rakski Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't bring an umbrella.
In the past I used to forget my umbrella at places all the time, so I'm never fond of carrying one.

At least phones today are designed to survive in the real world. I've been caught in my fair share of rain, too. Been soaked to the bone. I know what it's really like.

@kaylachan Really, the phone held up to the water much better than my hand. It wouldn't recognize my fingerprint at some point, but that's on me.

@JudyEv And they're pretty useless if it's windy. They can even break.

I would say a five since all of us learn from our errors.

@Deepizzaguy Thanks! Well, I'm not sure I won't do that again unless I get sick now.
