Do You Still Own Anything from the 90s? / myLot

Yes! I still own some treasured items from the 90s. I have a tape collection of my favorite 90s boybands and artists, including Westlife, Backstreet Boys (BSB), Code Red, Britney Spears, A1, Five, and more. It’s such a nostalgic blast every time I see it. Back then, I would play those tapes on my cassette player over and over, memorizing the lyrics and trying to sing along just like they did on the radio. Along with that, I’ve also kept some songhits—those lyric magazines we used to buy to sing along with the songs. They were so popular, especially if you wanted to know every word to your favorite tunes. The songhits are filled with pictures, band trivia, and lyrics from all the hottest songs at the time. It’s funny now to flip through them and remember how big a part of my life they were! Do you ever think about how different things are today with streaming? But nothing beats that old-school experience of rewinding tapes or flipping through songhits!

I even have vinyls but I don´t play them anymore as it is so much easier to do it with You Tube or even with Alexa.

I do have some music from a couple of those bands in the form of CD's. Most of my vhs tapes are dust. but a few things. I have a few vhs tapes but no player.

Lots of CDs from the 90s are still in my possession, even though I usually just listen via Apple Music these days.

I got rid of my cassette player and record player with vinyl records when we moved 8 years age. I had lots of hard back books that I sold before we moved.
