When you are watching TV or going somewhere do you think of weird things? Do you actually create a whole story about someone. Or am I the only one that thinks of strange things as my husband is driving somewhere. Do you ever think of what if all the time. What is we left five minutes early or five minutes later would everything be the same or would everything be different. Do you just wonder and think about strange things. Kind of like a day dream.

You're a story maker. You have an active mind and that's good. There are whole books written on what if?? scenarios- what if the South had won the Civil War? Kennedy hadn't been killed?

Sometimes when people get held up for some reason like when I was working and a register crashed it we lost power for a bit and customers would get upset, I would tell them maybe it's so they don't get into a wreck on the road. Maybe your should write some short stories of some of those things. Now what you're wondering about whether you're the only one, but what you make to about people and things. Years ago, a person on here quite about something near her home, I think. She provided a pic and I think made it available for others to write something about if that item were a portal.

You were smart to tell the customers maybe it is so they did not get into a wreck on the road. When that happened where I worked the doors would lock and everyone was really upset when that happened.

If i do sit idle , like while having my hair cut or may be just killing time - I do think about things. Sometimes it could be a creative story or writing I am working upon or it could be ways to improve my current financial situations or even hypothetical situations . Hypothetical situations may or may not have weird things in them. I could also day dream on these when time permits. Everything seems normal except our mood, which could swing based on what we thought about and well , I do enjoy those moments. It helps me to be sane in not so sane moments. And it is perfectly normal for most people I know of. Glad to know your thoughts!

I find myself daydreaming pretty often, and the scenarios I imagine often take place in distant places or times, but almost always in the future. I tend to avoid "what ifs".
