A once-in-a-lifetime sighting of a rare comet occurred last night and will be visible again tonight. The comet will be closest to the Earth on October 12 and should be visible to the naked eye until the end of October. The Southern Hemisphere will have the best view; but the Northern Hemisphere will get a glimpse too. Using a telescope or binoculars will enhance the view. The comet won't be visible again for 800 years.
Did you see Hale Bopp in the 90s? THAT was a once-in-a-lifetime sighting. It was so big that you could see it without any enhancement. I wish I could really describe how big it was. The picture above shows what we saw. There is no way that the current comet is anyway near the size.
We still don't have a landline. Kinetic screwed up again. It will be another 5-14 days until we have service. Spent over an hour on the phone with Spectrum and Kinetic trying to get our phone number portered over to Kinetic.
Today the grab bar guy will finally make installation. I have the new mailbox. I will find out if he can install it as well.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Longhorn Steakhouse leftovers - Strawberry salad, stuffed mushroom, Parmesan crusted chicken, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts
Dessert/Snack - Longhorn Steakhouse chocolate cake
Dinner - PB&J sandwich
What did you eat yesterday?

I'll have to be sure to charge it every day.

Chicken tacos with a ton of tomatoes for lunch, chicken veggie soup and taters with ranch mix sprinkled on it for dinner. And fiber and yogurt and apples!

@LindaOHio — good enough. Had a water heater part go out, but it was under warranty so it “only” cost $500 for the labor.

@FourWalls $500 for labor is as ridiculous as $170 to put up a grab bar.

Well I read that first line too fast. I had you having a rare sighting of a camel. I hope you were able to get some things done, even if Kinetic is a mess.

I went to BJ's today. The food was mediocre, but I had a Porter and that was delicious.

I had enough to deal with Milton the storm and my cat Tish got scared by the wind and ran downstairs to my friends abandoning me and Freddie. Not into food much until the trauma of the storm goes away but I did have a chocolate pudding.

I'm glad you are all OK. I hope the storms are done for now.
