How often do you get packages?

I have too many boxes. I’m not spending money I don’t have; I get a lot of things to test, but of course I place a few orders too. People seem to be sending fairly small things in large boxes, and I just do not get it. I really wish I knew someone who was moving and could use them. So how often do you get packages? I opened one the other day with a printer cartridge. Only I never ordered a printer cartridge. I don’t have a printer!

@AmbiePam well each 20 lb pacage lasts them two weeks as long as I keep the litter clean so it is worth it because then they have litter each month

I placed an order for cute little white sweatshirts with pink hearts on them for the girls. Just play clothes that I wanted to include in their Christmas boxes. I like to fill a box with a few outfits for each of them for Christmas. Other than that, I just transfer money into the money market account that I opened with our son, that he can spend on them when they require it. So far they haven't required it and by the time they realize what money really is they will have a neat little stash. It beats buying toys that they will play with for a couple of months and then will end up in the donation bag or a yard sale.

The box that I got the package in last night, was just big enough that the case could fix in it. That;s the first time ever that Amazon has use the right sized package.

Luckily I rarely get small things in large boxes, but it happened a few times. Maybe large is harder to steal, who knows. So I guess you're supposed to test that printer cartridge, I hope you can find someone nearby who has a printer. They will surely appreciate the thought, ink can get quite expensive.

Pretty much never . But I don't buy anything that needs to get shipped to me - so that's why.

I don't get packages as often as I used to. Can't spend money I don't have. On occasion, though, I get a nice surprise.

I unfold boxes and put them in the recycling. I always keep one or two on hand in case I need them.

I wish we had a place to recycle them here. We used to have a big parking lot about two miles away, where we could put our various recyclables in the appropriate bin. But too many yahoos put trash in the bins so they quit it.

how do you get packages if you don't order stuff or get stuff you don't need or have a use for? I don't get that lucky to have stuff just show up & I order stuff ALL the time but I pay for them.

@2ndchances24 I didn’t know where it came from. There was no label saying where it came from, only a messed up label trying to say who it was to. Also, I don’t care that much anyway.

@AmbiePam Well in that case I'd be careful cause you could get something dangerous.

You are so right about large boxes for small things. I received the cartridge for my laser in a box that would have contained the whole laser printer. Ridiculous.

Oh and I did just order some wild bird food, I forgot. I buy that by mail order because the purchase also raises funds for wildlife charities if I buy from them.

I keep getting them. I do most of my shopping online, even for groceries now. And I get them few times in a week. I just would neatly stack them, make use of them for some art and craft projects that I do with my students. At the end of the month I sell them with news paper and other recyclable items that I have. I keep that money aside and donate it to one blind school every Christmas.

Whenever I have big orders or if I order certain food items, I do end up getting packages. Frequency , well perhaps once in a month at an average. Usually I get rid of them while carrying things or gifts to friends. I do use a few to store my old clothes or items .If it stays for long , I do shred them and dispose them off. Else, it is going to take over a large storage space at home. I do not want the home to be cluttered for the packages .Perhaps, you could think of getting rid of packages in same or similar fashion. Good luck!
