Good Afternoon myLot!
Guess what I did this afternoon?
With my peer only watching today, I put the oven on (then wrote how to turn it on in my notebook, so I don't forget how when my peer isn't here) I put six slices of garlic bread that has different cheeses on it onto a tray with foil into a 425 degrees oven. then when it was done I brought it out.
Then I made scrambled eggs. First, my peer made two eggs and I watched and took notes. Then I made three eggs and my peer didn't help me. I made them and they turned out yummy looking!
I am going to make something else either over the weekend or early next week! I will NOT need somebody here.
I feel I have more confidence in my cooking! I had so much fun!
What have you cooked lately?

Congrats on your cooking adventure. Well, I didn't use an oven, but I guess the biggest thing I cooked was the homemade soup last week. I am using the microwave or air fryer most of the time in place of the oven.

Thank you! I never had homemade soup. What do you use to cook homemade soup? what kind of homemade soup did you make? I make things in the microwave too. I plan to reheat garlic bread in the microwave today.

@snowy22315 that sounds delicious! What made you decide to use lasagna noodles in place of potatoes? I would never have thought to exchange one food for the other.
my favorite soup is wedding soup. Have you ever made that homemade?

Carbonara is early. It is a pasta with cream based sauce (white sauce). You just need butter, a bit of flour, milk, and cream. Then salt and pepper for seasoning

@rakski carbonara sounds delicious. Does the white sauce taste rich with the butter and cream? I have heard of what sauce but never knew what ingredients were in it

That all sounds delicious!!!! I have not had roasted chicken in a long time. I may attempt to make it if I can find a recipe that gives all the details of how to do it.

I’m glad to read that the stove is no longer your enemy! Which is good, as you can’t live on frozen pre-made stuff forever. Plus, it’s too expensive.
I hope you work on learning and mastering several different meals, so that you have more variety in your diet. Keep on trying, Jennifer, you can do this. ![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

Premade food isn't really very healthy most of the time, either. You keep on trying, you'll get there. Yes, you need variety, and fruits and veggies, too.

Yes, frozen premade stuff is getting to be too expensive and honestly, I was getting sick of double cheeseburgers daily.
I am known for keeping notebooks of different things. So I decided to keep a notebook of everything I eat and keep track of what I eat and when I eat it so that I can start to keep variety in my eating.
I am going to keep trying and cook regular meals. I will succeed!![](/Content/images/emotes/hugs.gif)

I have heard of risotto but sadly I never tasted it. Is it hard to make?
Yes, eggs are the best! I have some left which means I can use one of them and make blueberry muffins as the mix i bought uses milk and eggs

@grenery8 Blueberry muffins are delicious and one of my favorite muffins. But if i am being honest the cinnamon ones that i used to be able to find in the bakery are the best!
Have you ever tasted a cinnamon muffin?
Do you have a favorite muffin flavor?

@LovesEverybody it is hard maybe to get the perfect flavour; not too salty but not blend. also, adding the water a few times. wow, blueberry muffins sound so good; had them only once and they were so good.![](/Content/images/emotes/cry.gif)
