Yum, Bison burgers for supper

I haven't had a bison burger for ages, because at least here bison costs more than beef .but at my favorite grocery outlet they had one pound packages for 4.99.That was one delightful burger. I was thinking of using some in hamburger helper..but no think I am going to have a couple more burgers on different days. Have you had bison? I should have gotten 2 or 3 packs of this. Too bad that store is so far from here What are you having for supper?

@MarieCoyle I just noticed they have it at Walmart for nine bucks a pound..with the cost of hamburger, it isn't much more honestly.

We have a few specialty meat markets, one of them will have bison burgers once in a while. They are always so good.

No, I've never had bison. I'm not a huge fan of red meat but I'd definitely give it a try. But I hope I won't like it as it's more expensive than beef.

It was..next time I go to that store I am going to start with the freezer case..first instead of last..that is where some of the best buys are.

Yeah,I probably haven't had one for maybe 10 years and maybe longer. Cabellas has them, and I have been wanting to go there. I have been before, but not at the one here. It was a ginormous fish tank.

My husband has had bison...I don't think I have. We are having pizza and Chinese tonight to celebrate a belated anniversary and my hubby's homecoming. Have a good weekend.

@snowy22315 Yup. We had Crab Rangoon, I had orange chicken and we also had pizza.
