HEARTACHES PART 2: The Hardest Part of Moving On from a Broken Heart

Accepting reality is, for me, the hardest part of coping up with the pain of heartbreak. It's difficult to fathom that things did not go as you had hoped or expected. Acceptance means letting go of the "what could have been" and facing the present alone without the person or situation that was once a big part of your life. It's hard to accept that some things are truly out of your control, but you can allow it to start healing you. Acceptance allows you to stop living in the past and start moving forward slowly-painfully-but finally. It's a crucial step, really, into finding peace and starting to rebuild for me. What do you think is the hardest part of moving on?

I think its the same - it is acceptance! And that is the only start of moving on, acceptj that things will never be the same, and we have to move on without the things that are no longer ours, and let go of the people that are not there to stay forever.
