Pitfall of online shopping

Doing a bit of online shopping, mainly for large packs of cat food. To bring it up to the minimum amount for a home delivery I also ordered some items I was running short of, including jam. I should have looked at the size of what I was ordering. The blueberry at 370g is the size I normally pick up while the apricot is 750g, rather more than I usually get. Guess I shall be eating a lot of toast with apricot conserve in the coming weeks!

If you do any cooking, there are recipes that use apricot jam - for chicken, meatbals, etc. That way you won't have an endless jar to use on toast .

It is a very big jar, I usually buy the 400 g size, not the Bonne Maman brand.

@Ronrybs - We have toasted bread and apricot (or strawberry) conserve every morning, but the 400 g jar lasts for a while.

I do most of my shopping online through Amazon and have been fooled by small or too large packaging so now I read all the very fine print and try to blow up those photos, Just to start you off
With just a few ingredients and about 5 minutes of prep, this crispy, sticky, apricot glazed chicken is an easy dinner for busy evenings!

We have that brand here. That's a lot of jam to get through. You should make your own Dodgy Jammies - or is it Jammie Dodgers??
