Philippines

We have this book store that sells secondhand books with a cheaper price, it called BookSale. But right now those super expensive books are now available on Tiktok shop with a more cheaper price and it is all brand new. The problem about those books sometimes it was printed with a very small font that are hard to read. Anyway I went to the mall last Saturday to buy a fridge, but before going home I drop by in the Book Sale and I bought a book, I will tell you more about it on the next article. have a great day. When was the last time you visited a book store?

Hahahaha! The game at booksale is to find good books with a cheaper price. Are you a good book finder? My sister former classmate is really good, she can really find a good one for as low as 10 pesos, but that was before way back 2002. Hehehe good old memories.

Oh I am sorry for that maybe next time you can go there again, it is really good to go to a bookstore just like the good old days. I remember buying a cheaper price... For only $3 I was able to buy a brand new hard copy of one of the " land of Story Books" , an I asked the cashier why its cheaper, and they told me because they got it from a different publisher for a very cheaper price. Wow that was before... I guess I will never find one again.

@jefferson126 kinda true, but some of the branches of the biggest bookstore here in Manila are still operating well, even its rivalry. National Bookstore is still alive and many Filipino are supporting it, while its rivalry Fullybooked are still much operating. Booksale is still operating too as well as the comic store like filbars. And i hop it will go on until forever... Its kinda sad to see them go like the DVD & CD Store.

Oh goodness, it has been awhile. I depend on my Kindle app for books nowadays because it saves me so much money. I never would have thought that would be the case. The last time I was in a bookstore had to be about four years ago. It was a used bookstore called Bookends. You could turn in your own books and get money off of the books in the store. It has since closed down, unfortunately.

I felt ashamed that it has been many years since i last visited a book store, now mostly we used laptop or phone to seek informations, and we are used to reading e-book.You remind me of visiting a real book shop,i should do that at some point.

Yeah I agree, I have so many ebooks that I bought during Pandemic. But its is way different when you really in a bookstore checking for new books, or finding a second hand books that you really like. :)

Yes, I agree it is still different to hold a real book and read it. When I was younger my travel from home to work is about an hour and a half, so I love reading books while travelling. I miss those days.

It's been ages, I either download ebooks or order physical copies online. On Amazon, secondhand books are often more expensive than new ones. Must be the shipping fee. But then there's also a local website that deals with used books and it's convenient, especially for school books. They also collect used books and I sold a bunch to them when I moved with family.

I agree books are getting expensive because of the shipping fee. Wow, I am trying to sell some of my books but I end up selling nothing, lol, my books are out of date, and I don't want to sell the good ones. Lol!
