Spooky Season is Here! How Do You Celebrate Halloween?

While most associate Halloween with costumes, parties, and trick-or-treating, we have a different approach here in the Philippines. We find ourselves visiting the graves much more than these eerie and spooky feasts. It is a time to honor and remember those who have died, usually done by cleaning out the grave and decorating it with flowers and candles. Do you know how Halloween is celebrated in the place where you live? In the traditional sense, like what we have here in the Philippines, is it costumes and parties, or you have something unique like that? I'd be thrilled to know your various Halloween traditions!

Halloween in my neighborhood is kind of quiet since the economy is not good at this time.

We don't generally celebrate Halloween. As Christians we don't like to indulge in anything that might involve the occult. They sometimes have Witches who perfume rituals in Hopwas woods at Halloween.
