MANILA, Philippines — Daumier "Dom" Corilla, a Filipino, defeated 32 other delegates to capture the inaugural Mister Global title for his nation. In the pageant finale that took place in Bangkok, Thailand on October 6, Corilla was crowned Mister Global 2024. "I remember we were just joking, imagining, and dreaming about me winning a title and now here we are," Corilla posted on Instagram to her friends in the Philippines and Los Angeles. In addition, Corilla received the Blazer of Fame, which the pageant's organizers claimed was a brand-new custom for its tenth running. Corilla dressed up as Apolaki, the Filipino God of War and the Sun, for his national costume.
