Wow! It’s been a while

since I was here. I thought I couldn’t login because it took me 4 times to log in here on Mylot.
We have moved in a new and bigger flat which is near to our cathedral. The view from our balcony is stunning as it is the upper part of the cathedral. No, it is not loud when the bells ring. The windows and our glass doors have double glazing. Of course I can hear the sound of the bells ringing with its classical music when I open the door to the balcony. I love the sound of the music the bells ringing.
Actually, we are not yet finished unpacking our boxes. I want to continue hanging the paintings on our walls but I have to observe the quiet hours from 1 to 3 in the afternoon. It is one of the regulations here in Germany. So until then, I have time to be on Mylot.
A lot of changes happened to my life this year. I call it another chapter of my life. What about you? Are there any changes in your life?

It's good to see you. Your new flat sounds lovely. My husband was away for 8-1/2 months as you probably know. He came home for one day, fell 3 times and is now in the hospital. He will be transferred to another care facility in 2 days. Have a good day.

You have a lovely view of the cathedral, Enjoy your new flat, No great changes here just continuing to write online and interacting with my cats, Way back when mom was alive and we lived in NYC we could hear the chimes of a clock on a church tower that was nice,

First of all, welcome back! And second, congrats on moving to a bigger and better residence. Seems, you have liked the location and enjoying the new residence. I was not aware of the quiet hours in Germany .It is in fact , a good regulation in many ways . Personally, I have been busy with my tasks and activities and trying to reduce my debt levels and looking for ways to be debt free and life has many changes. Hope are all for positive although I am scared at times about sudden changes. Continue unpacking boxes and setting up your new home .Well, enjoy your day !

Yes, it is @snowy22315. Early in the morning, the tip of the cathedral is full of black birds. It reminded me of the film of Alfred Hitchcock, “The Birds”.

I haven't been here much this year myself. I'm fact right now I've been around the longest in possibly a year or more. Maybe that will last a bit maybe more.
Changes: I retired from my cashiering job in a grocery store this past Dec. It's hard to believe it's almost been a year.
Last Sept I began designing books like journals, logbooks and planners to sell in Amazon. I have about 34 done now. I should have more but it took me several months to get the designing figured out.
Last month I made my first two coloring books. For Halloween. I've for adults and one for younger children. I decided I need to begin working on ones for Christmas.
I'm training my sil to take over either managing or running our cleaning business.
