HEARTACHES PART 4: Do Heartaches Ever Truly Go Away?

Heartaches, I guess, never really go away, but they change. The ache of sorrow would recede, and while the tears and memories and emotions wrapped up with the breakup or loss remain, they wouldn't weigh me down any longer as I healed. It's like a scar - it's always there to remind me, but it no longer hurts like an open wound. We learn to love ourselves and our growth, and later we start finding things to focus our attention on or be thankful for. Heartaches may never actually go away, but they tend to teach the importance of something and make stronger individuals out of people because of heartaches. Do heartaches ever really go away for you?
