Our garden is getting old and so do some of the trees in them. The coconut trees in particular will reduce their yield as years go by
Our variety of coconut trees have around 30 years longevity. Most are nearing their age but are still yielding.
The image is that of one of the coconot trees that had a bumper crop in the good old days I had forgotten what was the yield in those days and looking at the image I myself could not believe it (lol)

40 years is a long time. Is it of any use to you now?

@LadyDuck We do not have that here but I have loads of curry leaf plants and trees and I use that in several dishes.

@allknowing - I use rosemary to cook, it is good with oven baked chicken and roast beef, rosemary potatoes are also good. I burn the bigger woody branches in the fireplace, it smells good.

I didn't realize that those trees would yield less fruit due to age but it makes sense.

That's pretty cool. We have fruit trees but they were never really successful for us.
