Too Little Productivity

Are my goals unrealistic, I wonder?
Will I ever accomplish anything?
Am I just too slow?
I got my 5k steps done earlier than usual but my online activity is way behind. I surf traffic exchanges and the leader of a team I'm on told us we need to surf more, or we'll be kicked out.
Yeah, sure, that will be done.
Only God knows how, but it will be done.
Otherwise I'd be losing the weekly prize of $0.20 and I don't want to.
Okay, maybe it is not just about the money. Maybe it's about the victory, the GLORY!
But I think I'm just going to try to get by with the minimum.
I should tell myself the ultimate goal is is to have fun and enjoy the process.
Yeah, sure, that will be done.
Do you ever struggle with productivity? Is it due to unrealistic goals, poor management or else?
This might sound like a rant but I'm doing great, to be honest.
Why? I had pizza. That's my source of joy.
It looks like a lunar landscape in the photo.
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie...

I think you're doing fine if you're happy with where you are. Some people accomplish a lot while others accomplish a lot. It's just up to the person.

@somewitch Something that's hard to do with a lot of people. As long as you are doing your best, you're perfect.

I am never as productive as I feel I should be. It comes from a whole host of factors really.

@rakski As long as I can blame external factors and not myself, it's all good I suppose.

I do struggle with being productive at my work but I realize that trusting the process will be worth it in the long run.

@Deepizzaguy Absolutely, trust and faith are much needed to stay motivated when the goal seems so far away.

@grenery8 Frozen is good, sometimes even better than some pizzas I had in some restaurants. And it's cheaper and more practical.

I am not productive enough on line, mainly because I would rather do random unpaid stuff than what I need to be doing.

All the best of luck to you, Pizza is the best food ever, I search the net every day and sometimes I get in so far I wonder how to get out but I have found some of the most interesting things,

@RasmaSandra Thank you!
Oh, sometimes you fall "down the rabbit hole", so to speak. Yes, it's hard to get out of there but if you learned something new then time wasn't really wasted.

... That's amore.
For me a lot of times it's procrastination. It might be to much on our plate but if we have no goals then we might not get anything done.

@MarshaMusselman That's right!
Yeah, motivation can be hard to find, especially if one doesn't really believe in what they're doing, or they can't envision a positive outcome.
In my case, I think the fact other people are involved keeps me motivated.

@JudyEv Agreed, money shouldn't be the main focus here otherwise content quality will suffer. And the harder we try, the less we get. Unless you post about pizza, that always works.

I tend to feel overwhelmed when there are too many things to do, and then I tell myself, that most of it does not matter that much, as most of it is not that necessary to be done, and can be done tomorrow too.
Some things, probably should not be put off, as an opportunity might be lost, for example, but many things can be, like cleaning the house, can wait for another day.
We should not overpressure ourselves, but rather do things one step at a time, and a step that we are comfortable taking right now too.
There is no point trying to jump a chasm, unless we are an elite athlete, and even then, it remains an unnecessarily risky thing to do too.

@innertalks The hours in a day look like many but then I have to come to terms with the fact I'm not a machine and I can't just run programs all the time. Besides, not even a computer can accurately guess the estimated time it takes to do something.
I should really figure out which tasks need to be prioritized and which can wait, thank you!

@somewitch That is hard to do at times, but most of us can usually tell the more important tasks, and those are the ones we should do first off, without procrastinating about them.
Usually, a gut feeling will let us know what is the most important thing to be doing, right now, and we should not ignore such feelings, if we can.

@thelme55 Yes, that's it. That's Amore.
Sometimes we are forced to be productive, especially when deadlines are involved. It also helps to have someone to hold us accountable. External factors play an important role.

I think I agree with you. Because the moment we get so serious about it we get too much pressure.
Having fun and writing down all the strategy and steps that we need to do before starting up also helps us to make our goal realistic And sometime we tend to overload our plate that's why we are becoming less productive.

@luisadannointed Thank you! Now I think the goal is doable, it just took me a couple of days to figure out what the best strategy was.

@dya80dya Yes, it's hard to find a balance between tasks that are too easy to feel proud of and tasks that are too hard to get done. I can set goals that are easy to achieve but what if they're too easy?
