She child has been sick this week and she requested chicken and dumplings. So that's what I made tonight, homemade chicken and dumplings.
He child had dinner with his girlfriend, but the rest of us ate it all up and there were no leftovers.
I should of tried to get a more artistic picture, but I didn't.
It was delicious.

That looks very good.
What I made I call pepper steak, but it's nothing at all like what you would order from a Chinese restaurant called that. I brown strips of round steak, then add onions and peppers, then pour in some beef broth, minced garlic, Worcestershire and soy sauce, some Italian seasoning, and let that simmer for about 40 minutes to an hour. Then I either add a packet of brown gravy mix or just make a rue, then add cooked rice to it. Very delicious.

Sounds tasty. My house had smoked salmon and cheese French toast for supper. There's a local shop that sells the best smoked salmon.

My kids all love chicken and dumplings, or chicken and homemade noodles. Sometimes, us mama's have to make those things. Looks good!
