You should take your time when you eat. You should eat slow Eating slow helps you to enjoy the flavor of your food. Eating slow is better for your digestion. Eating fast is bad for your digestion. Eating fast can cause you to have high blood pressure. I remember when we ate lunch in High School every one would hurry and eat their lunch so they could talk with their friends. And when you work and have a half hour lunch you always ate fast. Always in a hurry when you are on a time limit. That is why I now slow down and take my time eating.

Thank you for the advice to eat slow since eating too fast does make me feel ill not to mention I could choke on my food.

I have never thought much about health but I like to eat slow. I like food. I enjoy cooking it, tasting it and I feel that gulping it down is quite close to a sin.

And I think eating slowly helps in digestion as well. For those who are on a diet as well, it is recommended to eat slowly so they can feel full without having to eat all the food they got

Quite right. I think a slow meal improves the quality and taste and a smaller meal can be quite as filling as a hurriedly eaten big one

I am always the last one done, no matter who I eat with or where I eat. I think eating slowly could well be the key to some people having weight issues. If you eat slowly, I feel full and then I don't want seconds, etc.

Good idea . . . I'm a fast eater and need to slow down. Then again, my late FIL used to be a super slow eater .

I have always eaten slow. Not sure why. I have got my husband to slow down after he retired.
