We chose our window blinds

We finally decided on the blinds. Hunter Douglas is who we picked. We chose not to do the blinds in the bedrooms for now, as they still have old ones, and only do them for sliding door and windows that are bare. Four windows and sliding door cost us $3200. That’s with tax, measuring and installation and freight (I’m assuming that’s delivery). Someone is coming next week to confirm the measurements. I hope sometime in November they will be installed. Now we need to find a dining table and chairs. Don’t want to spend too much money on that. Preferably, the table should be under $2000 and chairs under $300 each. Not sure where to look. I don’t want to get them online. I want to see the table and chairs in person and hopefully sit on the chair to see if it’s comfortable. What I saw in person at Bloomingdales that I liked was expensive, even with the sale that was going on at the time. Went to Macy’s but didn’t see anything there that I’d wanna get that works for our dining room. Maybe going to IKEA is a good idea. Any other suggestions?

Great stuff but expensive. Almost $2000 for just two windows.

I doubt you have the furniture stores that we have here. Ashley, Levin, etc. Ikea you may have to put your furniture together. Good luck. Our dining room set was $700 many years ago; and it's very heavy duty. It will never wear out. Have a good weekend.

I heard Ikia doesn't have anything that you do't have to put together yourself after you get it.

I suppose there is quite a bit of work in making a chair but the price of them always surprises me.

I don’t want to pay $400+ for a chair. Heck, I think even $300 range is a lot.
