Dark & Gloomy Day + Photography |10/17/24

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? We were lucky to get some extra days of warmth this "fall". Usually after September it turns chilly pretty quickly. However today is our first real chilly/cold day. The weather is only in the higher 40s and it is windy. It's also pretty dark out there and has been lightly raining off and on. I think early next week it might warm back up to the 60s...but our days in the 70s and above are over for 2024. Thought I would share a photograph I took (and edited) that sort of fit the feeling of the day. I edited it to look sort of dark and gloomy. What do you all think? Photo is of the Snake River in Idaho, USA. P.S. It does say Poetic Enigma Photography - if any of you have followed me on older sites, that is the pen name I used. After having my son, then I started going by the "Mommy of Eli" name.

That's a cool photo. We are warming up into the 60s and 70s again. I hope it lasts for a while. Have a good weekend.

I'm glad we had sun today. But sorry you had a kind of yucky day.

I like your moody picture. It will get back in the 80s here, but for now it is just 65 degrees.

I am doing fine making a recovery from an infection in the back of my right lower leg with medicines from the local hospital and doing exercises inside the home.
