Trump tried to pay hush money to Stormy Daniels for a second time

Didn't he learn after being convicted on 34 felony counts involving the first time? Apparently not. Stormy sued Trump for defamation and lost so the judgement was that she had to pay Trump's legal fees plus interest. She resisted for a long time but then a GoFundMe campaign was set up to help her. It raised more than the judgement amount so her lawyer reached out to Trump's team to arrange the payment. They negotiate the exact amount of time, the amount of interest, etc. Trump's team told Stormy Daniels' team that she should pay $652,000 while her team said it should be $600,000. Trump's team countered with $620,000 with a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) stating that she would disparage him in public. (Like seriously? What more could she divulge about the man that she hasn't already? ) That offer was rejected. Trump's team eventually said that they would settle for $630,000 without any mention of an NDA and the issue was eventually agreed upon at $627,500. I have absolutely no clue why Trump would want to try to silence Stormy further. She's done the interviews. She's written a book. There's been a documentary. I saw a suggestion on Twitter that the decreased settlement amount might be a "payment" for trying to get her to recant her testimony in the Manhattan business documents case. Gotta hand it to Trump: he is stupid and his lawyers are as smart as he is. Attempting a SECOND hush money payment to Stormy Daniels AGAIN just days before the presidential election is absolutely bat$hit crazy. I guess he needs to fill up his calendar with more court dates.

I hope she has lots more info on him that she hasn't said yet. Maybe she has sound or video recordings?

@xander6464 — I freely admit to binge watching biographies of mobsters, but not with any desire to emulate them, worship them, or elect them….

@xander6464 — if he had a twig down he’ll take it all for his “damage.”

@FourWalls And then he'd tell the people who gave that they didn't give enough.
