MRI Over and Done With

The MRI only took fifteen minutes, and I got to listen to some pretty bad music while I was at it. I remember in my twenties, they did MRIs from my head to toes, and it took two hours. I ended up falling asleep that time.
It’s still early in the day, and so beautiful! Anyone been stuck listening to bad music lately? What are all of you up to?

@snowy22315 Thanks. : ) They think my back has gone from moderate damage to severe, but I’m not too worried.

Hold music while trying to schedule our IRS appointment was pretty bad, and I am about to do some slice the pie reviews. Generally that music is pretty bad.

I have been; however, I used the money I saved by switching my insurance (not to GEICO) and the myLot money to get some AirPods Pro, which have noise cancelation in them. I’m amazed how well they work. So play that cheesy 90s music, Chuy’s, I’ll stick the AirPods in.

Was the MRI machine an open machine, or a closed-in one? The first time I ever had an MRI it was the close-in one and I felt so claustrophobic in there. But the second time they used an open MRI machine and it was super comfortable and roomy.

@AmbiePam How far in did you have to go? My daughter just did an MRI on her forearm, and she had a closed MRI machine, but thankfully she only had to stick her arm in the machine, and not her entire body.

What was the MRI for? I hope it turns out well. I'm plodding through dozens of email changes. Have a good weekend.

The MRIs I´ve suffered are silent. Worse, I imagine.

I'd definitely rather the 15 minutes than 2 hours - glad it went pretty fast but yah, it must've been 15 minutes of torture for your ears . When I was driving the other day in traffic, there was this truck next to me .. . his boom boom boom boom was booming so loud - I could feel my own car vibrating. I had to endure it down a long stretch of street .

Fifteen minutes is fine. But I am scared lying there for hours.

Listening to bad music could be torture especially stuck in an MRI. At least it only took 15 minutes.

I am currently healing with an infection in the back part of my right leg with medications that I have been taking for the last two weeks.

@AmbiePam The medicines are working to shrink the infection area.
