A nifty little cart

We went out to our caravan today and cleaned up the outside of it. Tomorrow we’ll do the inside. We are thinking of selling it and the four-wheel-drive and replacing them with a motor-home that we could both drive and which would be smaller and more convenient at this time of our lives. We keep the caravan at a friend’s place. He keeps his big yard raked and mown and I took a photo of this contraption that he made. He loads it up with leaves and branches then pulls it to a central place to be burnt. I thought it was very neat.

This is a well made little cart, large wheels are perfect for less effort.

@LadyDuck They have a few acres which means a lot of grass and small branches, etc.

I appreciate those homemade carts like that. So much better and productive (in recycling things) than a wheelbarrow. I watch RV (caravan) videos on You Tube a lot. I’ve seen some really nice ones (what we call “class B,” or vans that are motorhomes) from Australia that make me a little envious that we don’t have them here.

@JudyEv — we have them, but not with some of the layouts I’ve seen in Australian class B vans.

I'm a bit surprised that you don't have them there. There are a variety of types here but we just want something pretty simple. We won't be bothering with pop-outs or too many refinements. We do want a toilet.

Neat little wheel barrow and to think it was an invention by your friend. Good job.

@JudyEv Both my Dad as well as my hubby could improvise with what they had to make something purposeful out of it.

Looking at that cart if it had four wheels and a motor it would be a great thing for me to scoot around in.

Looks like quite some system to be used ! Which 4 wheeled vehicle do you have? Is it from Toyota or some other big company?
