Years ago there was something called IRC (Internet Relay Chat). About everyone used a nick so you kind of had to read their comments to get the level of their connection, knowledge, etc. One day this user comes on and starts to attack askbill about what he posted. Everyone there was cracking up. WE knew he was Bill Gates but the user, thinking he knew everything was lecturing askbill on Windows. One of us got fed up and told the user who he was talking to, and the user disputed, and so he was hit with some hacks which not only kicked him off but kept him off. The incident became a major discussion at PCJ (Personal Computers Jamaica). From then, I check the content of the post before I make any assertions. No one else seems to.

There are times when I am writing something I check through at least three sources before I commit to any decisions about what I want to mention in my article,
