You call yourself an adult?

Sometimes reading things online, I wonder how some people have made it to adulthood. People are getting more and more offended by those of us that are able to think for ourselves and have our own opinions.
I have been taught my whole life that you find out for yourself why you like or don't like something. Or why you agree or don't agree with something or someone. That's part of what makes you you. The ability to think for oneself.
The older I get and the more time I spend online, I have noticed that there are a bunch of people that were apparently not taught that. Almost as if they live in a little bubble and just don't have any idea how the world works, or what is really going on.
There are people on different forums talking about stuff they have no idea about, such as defunding the police, insurance crisis and other hot button issues. Reading into the comments they have made on such posts it is clear that they have no idea what they are talking about. They are just spewing what they have been told.
It's so frustrating to watch other people not know how to think for themselves.
End of rant.

I love it when people tell me I must be listening to such and such when no, I am listening to a person’s own words, and can literally quote them on it. Just facts. Just available truth in what was said and I heard from the mouth of that particular person.

Yeah, its awfully annoying when people tell you how to believe or that you are believing the wrong thing. Like nope they are my beliefs not yours.

The more our younger people stay on screens, and even people like me, the less they know about what is going on.

Unfortunately I'm not talking about young people.

Makes me wonder if people are really that stupid, or if they're doing it because they know they'll get attention.

Some people think they can get away with talking nonsense though they are grown up physically.

I am a child in an adult's body but I also have a brain, So I can have fun online but also act rationally,

I can relate to what you are saying since I am an old school adult who likes my material simple to understand like entertainment shows that have happy endings and not cliffhangers.

I don’t need anyone to tell me what to believe. I am perfectly capable of doing my own research and deciding for myself.
