Saw a white kangaroo with its joey! / myLot

This is the first time I'm seeing a white albino kangaroo with a joey. We've seen several white kangaroos in Australia, but this time we saw one with a little baby joey in its pouch. They looked so cute together and we're not scared of us as we approached it gently and there are always visitors to this wildlife park. The kids were very excited too.

@pitstop I did not know about white kangaroos since the cartoons on television are gray.

This may be the albinism issue which makes this kangaroo so unusual.

I see that the Joey is also an albino. That is unusual.

@pitstop I don't know. I would have to research it to see if albinos also have normal-colored joeys.

We saw five or six white kangaroos, some with joeys in a wildlife park in South Australia. You don't see white 'roos in the wild very often, if at all.
