Update on Impeachment of the Kenyan Deputy President

The Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya was impeached. This means he was removed from office following a decision by both the National Assembly and the Senate. Unfortunately, I could not follow both proceedings as I was occupied with funeral arrangements of my daughter. A section of Kenyans feel the impeachment was unfair, since the deputy president was very influential during the elections that saw the current president elected. I hope he finds justice!

If both the houses supported the decision of his removal who can give the ousted deputy president any justice? Does your country have a Supreme Court where he can appeal?

In Africa, many court decisions are lame without the support of a sitting president.
