Awesome Early Birthday Outing

Dear all,
I had a wonderful early birthday dinner with Courtney,Eli, and my mother in law yesterday. We went to the Drift Inn/Henry's, a great local spot in our town.
We had finger steaks and French fries, and some fresh bread and butter. For the four of us, including drinks,the meal was around $70.
My mother in law graciously paid for the meal.
Later, I came home and opened a few birthday gifts, I might share more about those later.
My actual birthday is off to a great start, I hope everyone has a fantastic and blessed rest of your day, wherever you are.

That sounds good. And I assume that it's a pretty reasonable amount to pay for a hearty meal for four. Enjoy your gifts. Have a good day on your real birthday too.

It's not the worst price, but I'm still very thankful my mother in law paid for it, she's awesome like that.

The price was crazy - $10 for drinks, $13 for the fries...but the fingersteaks are so good. Glad you've had a good birthday celebration so far
