Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 50 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 76 which I will take for October 23. I went to bed early so I woke up way too early. I guess I'm on some new sleep schedule. I don't mind it much, though, because I have been feeling really good when I wake up. I don't feel half-dead. I've taken the dog out, fed him, made myself a cup of coffee, and made some scrambled eggs with sauteed onion, zucchini, a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese, and some Penzey's Outrage seasoning. I'm not super hungry yet so I'll have them when I get to work. Today we are giving the PSATs to the sophomores and juniors. That means we miss periods 1-3. Then we go to a shortened schedule. The day will be somewhat chaotic. I finally went tanning on Monday for the first time since June. I should have taken yesterday off but I knew that the periods would be short today and I wouldn't have time to get there, tan, and get back before the bell rings. I was happy to wake up and see that my face isn't super red. I didn't burn. After work today I have an hour of homebound tutoring. I still haven't heard back from the student's teacher so I have no idea what topic I'm supposed to be covering. I hope she gets back to me today because I am scheduled to meet with the student both today and tomorrow. I'm also waiting to hear from another student's mother. I am supposed to do 2 hours with her son this week but she still hasn't responded to my 2 emails trying to schedule them. No big plans for the afternoon aside from the tutoring. It will be nice to just relax. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

No relaxing for this woman here lol. I remember taking the psat's, it was nerve wracking for me and I thought the school tests were the worst I'd ever take....I was wrong lol. Today I have some orders to work on and I think I want to bake some. Not sure yet if I will but I wanna lol. I also want to see if I can find a mason jar hot chocolate recipe that sounds good to add to my shop for Christmas.
