A beautiful sunrise this morning

As I was putting out the recycling this morningI looked up to the end of the street and saw the most beautiful sunrise... all rosy pinks and purples, stratus clouds at the bottom and fluffy cumulus higher up. That's where the purples were in case you were wondering. Their bottoms were rosy (don't say it, don't even think it) but the tops were purple. It was almost enough to make me want to paint it. I would have gone back in the house and grabbed my camera to share it with you, but the nasty garbage truck turned up my street and who wants to look at the rear end of a garbage truck?

@mosherii Well, I only got up at 8:30 today, and it's all overcast with no sun to be seen.

i get you also, i hate the smell after garbage truck passes; several times i was taking my walk and then i started feeling almost suffocating, very intense smell. we are having half rainy autumn and i just love seeing sun now and then
