I used to think salsa dance is immoral until I learnt dancing it

When I joined campus for my undergraduate degree in July/August 2007, I was a young, shy but curious youngman in his early twenties. I had studied in village schools and was yet to be exposed to urban life. At first i was emotionally confused by the dressing style of campus girls, which were mostly revealing. Sooner I got used to them and would have no strong manly feeling while sitting next to a scarcely dressed beautiful girl. Well, then came in co-curricular activities. I was not attracted to games at all; I loved music and performing arts. At first, i felt very wrong the way i saw students erotically holding and feeling each other in the name of dancing. I in fact thought my girlfriend would leave me if she saw me dance salsa with another girl. But when I enrolled for salsa classes, i quickly learnt that salsa was a clean, enjoyable dance and has little or no immoral values attached to it! Who else loves salsa!

Sure, salsa is really good. I still enjoy dancing it or watch people dance it even in my adulthood

I grew up in a conservative household . . . I was the same way until I discovered "the world" . I love dancing - and I do know how to salsa dance.

Culture shock. I think you enjoyed your youth too much. I am very studios person and introvert.

As a native of Panama, Salsa music is played in Latin America with many artists from Panama becoming famous worldwide like Willie Colon.

You are very true. Even the songs we used during learning were mostly from Argentina, Mexico, Panama and Peru!
