A snake appeared in the dugout of the Los Angeles Doggers during the second game of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) on Monday October 14 when Dodgers relief pitcher Brent Honeywell entered the dugout in the fifth inning when Brent saw a small snake but the snake did not cause any harm since the grounds crew of the Dodgers used a towel to wrap the animal and remove the snake from the dugout and stadium.
It is odd for cats and birds entering the field of play during baseball games but a snake entering a dugout is very rare.
By the way the New York Mets did win the second game of the NLCS by a score of 7-3 even though the Dodgers did win the NLCS in six games and will in the 2024 World Series starting on Friday in Los Angeles against the New York Yankees.

I hope it wasn't a venomous snake. Have a good day.

I doubt that the snake was poisonous at all.

The snake does not look that small in your photo, and it was good that a dodger player didn't pick it up, thinking it was a new type of a baseball bat...a curved one
