TBT: "Throw Back Thursday" or "Taking you Back in Time?"

Since the technological explosion and social media revolution, TBT is a common way of explaining memorable moment or things in the past. Why the term is mostly used on Thursdays is a wonder to me. Most of the time I tend to agree with those who say it means "Throw Back Thursday". Still I find no issue agreeing with the section that say it means "Taking you Back in Time". I wonder if anyone has an idea about what exactly TBT is all about, and if they too consider Thursday the TBT day of the week.

Many things these days don't have a logical backing. They just need to be catchy and they become a trend in no time. I always felt that it's Throw Back Tuesday . Tuesday and Thursday can be confusing.

Interestingly , there is no logical reasoning behind throw back thursday. A decade ago , a group of people started sharing old memories with hashtag throwback thursday and it became quickly popular. The mainstream media picked it up and now it is shared now and then. So , as such there is no reasoning behind the origin of throwback thursday. And of course, there is nothing special about thursday in that regards. We all tend to remember some events of our past based on dates or anything we do in our present. Well, enjoy the time!

I sometimes confuse Thursday with Tuesday, I thought it was "Throw Back Tuesday". They should have chosen another day.
Apparently it was a trend that was started by a blogger, then it became part of internet culture. Useful when you have nothing new to share, so you recycle old stuff.
"Taking you Back in Time" makes much more sense and you don't have to make sure it's a Thursday.
